Classes that currently run are detailed below: -

Thursdays - 5pm-6.30pm CHILDREN'S CHOIR/MUSICAL THEATRE COMBI

The children's choir currently consists of pupils aged 6-10.  We go through warm up exercises and breathing exercises using the IDTA Musical Theatre Syllabus.  We then go through some songs singing together with the arrangements I make.  Then the last 30 minutes they sing solo with microphones to gain confidence in singing in front of others.  

Thursdays - 6.30pm-8pm ADULT'S CHOIR

The adults choir have put on a number of performances at local events most recently the 150 year celebration of Parc Hall, Cwmparc Community Centre.  We have performed at St George's Church Christmas Fete, The WI Anniversary Lunch, The over 60's Christmas dinner and the Christmas Fete at Cwmparc Community Centre.

There is no audition to join the choir, there is no requirement to read music as the songs are taught 'by ear' via the arrangements that I make and there is no pressure to attend performances.

PRIVATE LESSONS

I do individual singing lessons after school and some weekends.  This consists of working on vocal range, warm up exercises, breathing exercises, scale work and building a song repertoire for each student.  Some students are working on audition pieces, some students are taking vocal exams via RSL Award and some students sing just for fun.  I can do lessons face to face or if students live further afield I can do lessons online via WhatsApp/Facebook/Zoom/Skype.
